Future NB fosters partnerships between NB employers, universities, and students to support workforce recruitment and retention. Types of supports available for employers include wage subsidies, transportation, training, and equipment.

Future Wabanaki is a partnership between NB employers, universities, Indigenous students, and the Government of New Brunswick. It works to ensure that Indigenous university and college students have equal access to meaningful and valuable real experiences with local employers, while connecting employers with top New Brunswick talent. Funding opportunities include wage subsidies, childcare, moving expenses, living accommodations, travel costs, equipment and training.

Provides funding for employers to create summer job opportunities for post-secondary students for up to 12 weeks.

Provides wage subsidy funding to help qualifying organizations hire University of New Brunswick students for 12-16 weeks. The program is set to help underrepresented students (students with financial needs, international students, Indigenous students, students with disabilities, etc.)
