Students complete diverse WIL opportunities relating to entrepreneurship programs.
We believe that entrepreneurially-minded students learn best by doing. As such, experiential learning, such as entrepreneurial work terms (semester-long work term where students work on their startup idea), entrepreneurial externships (entrepreneurial students are placed within existing businesses to identify startup ideas), and access to an entrepreneur-in-residence is embedded in all of MCE's programming. We completed 101 entrepreneurial work terms over the last four years and about 30 entrepreneurial externships.
