Western University’s mission is to create, disseminate and apply knowledge for the benefit of society through excellence in teaching, research and scholarship. They aim for their graduates to be global citizens whose education and leadership will serve the public good.

This partnership between BHER and Western University will create work-integrated learning placements for first or second-year students in Arts & Humanities, Information & Media Studies, and Social Science programs. A collaboration with TechAlliance will help foster recruitment and hiring of Liberal Arts graduates in the local tech sector. The project will also engage the Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship and offer workshops to help students learn problem-solving techniques, improve entrepreneurial thinking, and develop transferable skills.
