1Mentor will collaborate with George Brown College, Capilano University, and the University of Waterloo to create up to 1,000 WIL experiences focused on addressing disparities faced by international and equity-deserving students. The program's objective is to bring diverse perspectives and innovations to the Canadian workforce and economy.
1Mentor will deliver their Career Accelerator' program to each student participating in a WIL. This program acknowledges each student's unique skills and experiences, and guides them in aligning their attributes with their career aspirations. The program equips students with insights into the job market, helps them create data-driven professional development plans, and develops essential skills sought by employers. What sets this program apart is its integration of artificial intelligence and advanced career support technology, which provides personalized career guidance scalable to a large number of students, including those furthest from conventional career resources.
