Launched in 2013 by the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CF), the Navigator’s platform helps locate and connect with research expertise, state-of-the-art equipment and labs located in universities, colleges, hospitals and federal government facilities across Canada. The Navigator features more than 700 research facilities covering 28 sectors of application, including aerospace, ocean industries, environmental technologies, advanced manufacturing and life sciences.
The Navigator was inspired by Canada’s ambitious researchers, industry leaders and innovators and their drive to connect, to create and to change your world.
The Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) invests in state-of-the-art facilities and equipment in Canada’s universities, colleges, research hospitals and non-profit research institutions, helping to attract and retain the world’s top talent, train the next generation of researchers, support private sector innovation and create high-quality jobs that strengthen the economy and improve the quality of life for all Canadians.
